1-Day Hand-Tied Course

Mastering the skill of the hand-tied is central to creating many of Paula's trademark designs. Everyone who loves to arrange flowers can learn this skill to enable them to create contemporary vase arrangements for their own home or for gifts. Students will be shown a number of ways the hand-tied technique can be put to use and will make two of their own arrangements to take home. As this is always a popular course, students are advised to book early.
4-Day Intensive Course

Designed as a launch pad for those intending a career change this course will cover all the skills required to get you started. From essential floristry techniques through to display and event work, a visit to Covent Garden Market and an overview of current trends in floristry this course gives a complete picture of the working world of the professional floral designer. This course is very intensive and each day is packed with ideas, skills and information. It has been a very influential course for many of our past students and is extremely highly regarded.

This exclusive course is intended for students wishing to make a career change to floristry. It is designed to offer the practical help and advice that Paula would have liked to have had when she made the move from teaching to floristry. The intensive eight day course is packed with information and designs spanning the whole range of the floristry business. It will give creative and honest business advice making it a unique course in the industry. Students are encouraged to develop their own style as well as learn the formula that makes Paula Pryke Flowers one of the leading floral brands in the world.
Each day is packed with colourful and creative demonstrations and each student will make a number of individual designs throughout the course giving them an excellent grounding in the fundamentals of flower arranging and floristry. Large scale decorating for parties and weddings is also part of the second week and students work together to create a themed party.
This is the ultimate course and the perfect chance for students to create their own portfolio. Students work with the best seasonal flowers and materials are provided for in this intensive and influential course.
